Issue Summary
Just installed the updated Onthisday, got this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE, expecting '(' in /home/cl-k/web/vindstille.net/modules/onthisday/onthisday.module on line 158
Could this be corrected?

Got same error on a new 5.7 install I'm building. Temporarily renamed onthisday.module to something else to bring rest of site back.

This is now fixed, and will be available for download within the next developmental snapshot (i.e. within 12 hours). Thanks for the report!
