New field actions for supporting email addresses

Currently, actions (core and field) only allow emails to be sent to the author or a username in a user reference field. I think sending emails to either an email address in an email field or list of emails in a text field would be useful.

I've already gotten both of these to work. I'm opening this request just to make sure this hasn't already been done or is a bad idea to add to the "Field Actions" module.
