About Flexifilter: Terminology

Flexifilter uses several terms in its administration interface, which are defined here.

Flexifilter(s): A flexifilter is a filter created and managed through the Flexifilter module.

Components: A component is the part of the Flexifilter in which text is manipulated for a specific purpose.

Conditions: A condition is a property of the text that is true or false, which causes Flexifilter to act on the text, or to choose to ignore the text.

Chunks: A chunk is a piece of text that Flexifilter spots, per its pre-programmed conditions in a flexifilter, and acts on.
