Hi,
when using more then 20 fields its really slow to update the form. Would be nice to have the fields in a separate tab, so that they not need to load every time by updating the form (title, etc.)
regards

mandclu commented+1 for this feature. I used to use the Survey module which worked this way, and found it worked well.

quicksketchI have to say... moving fields to another tab would save all sorts of trouble when dealing with CCK, Taxonomy, and other modules that edit the node form. I generally like this idea. Let's keep open to sort of survey if anyone has a reason not to do this.

quicksketchI've branched Webform 2.0 with this functionality. Moving the fields to a separate tab saves so much trouble and puts us in a good position for porting to Drupal 6 without major code changes. It also opens up the door for reusing CCK field types as webform components in Drupal 6, which is a very exciting possibility. Thanks for suggesting the change.
