One feature that I have seen used and have used myself is with a set of checkboxes or radio buttons where there is an "Other" option, and you want the user to specify what the other option is. With the current Forms API, it is not possible to have this additional text field with a checkbox/radio button without using javascript to insert it. It would be nice to be able to specify a particular option in these field types with an additional text field.
