Similar to how the states are dynamically loaded using activeselect based on the country selected, how can a pre defined list of cities be loaded when the states are selected. If for any state I have no pre defined list of cities then the city field can be a text field allowing free text to be entered.

This is the most duplicated feature request and the reason this is not a feature is very simple and has been explained many times. Please look at old issues before posting new ones. This could be done using a text field and auto-complete, but I don't have time to do non-paying work right now. I'm sure you understand.
