I'm proud to show off the new http://napavalleyvineyards.org site. I'm still adding photos and descriptions for many of the wineries but its a good start.

I'm really interested in feedback, especially on usability and design.

Design

- One custom module handles the custom location node type, itinerary node type, and mapping functions. The itineraries are linked to the locations so if a location is updated the changes are also seem on the itineraries.
- The view module is used to list itineraries at http://napavalleyvineyards.org/napa-valley-itineraries . Although nothing advanced, I found the views module to be really powerful and easily configurable.
- Images are handled using the cck imagefield and imagecache method outlined in http://drupal.org/node/101748 which i think is the best method for my needs.
- Webform is used for the "add a location," correction, and contact us forms.

To Do List

- Add a amazon still rating system. I have yet to find one that i like, so i might write a custom one. It will be tied with a Content Recommendation Engine for recommending wineries.
- Add a forum.
- Add a trip planning tool for user customized itineraries.

Not really sure about the colors, but the overall design is really good, I like how you can see A LOT of vineyards at once without feeling overwhelmed, that is hard to achieve.

Very good use of googlemaps.

I give you an A+

You really did a good work. I love the way you mix the content with de adsense publicity. The only change i would do set the font smaller.

May be too much grey, it had to be a gastronomic advertising site, most for vinery, so you have to recall that kind of sensations with colors and pictures, maybe also a better and higher header picture.

But, for truth, I'm here for your custom module to join nodes in itinerary routes, very useful and appreciable. :-P

Have you in mind to release it to the community? I'm very interested in.
