As a relative newbie still, I "lost" where FeedAPI sets its categories. They weren't where I expected, in Administer > Content management > Categories. Please consider any of the following:

  1. Adding a link from where existing categories are selected, to Feeds | Category tab.
  2. Adding a link from Content management > Categories
  3. Adding a tab in Content management > Categories, titled "Feeds"
