Post Information being displayed even when not requested

I am using drupal 5.6 and ubercart beta 2. I do not wish for the product pages to show who and when the product was posted. I turn it off in the theme configuration page, but the Denver theme leaves this on the product pages. I have tested most of the standard themes, and they all obey my request. At the moment I have no other content, so I don;t know if the problem extends to other page types.

Please fix or post a fix here. I really want to use this theme for my site.
