Could you add a drag and drop sorting feature to the node's attached media?
There is a conversion about this feature for file attachments. http://drupal.org/node/185458

This would be a great user interface enhancement for end users.
Using drag and drop it is easy to manage playlists. I would like to create a Playlist content type, and attach some media to the playlist node. Users then able to create his/her own playlist, and they could easily manage them.

Do you still have the sample for the upload module? I'd like to see if there are things I could use, to provide this functionality. It seems like an extremely useful one, and is something that I'd be interesting in seeing goes into the first round of the stable module.

Although this exists currently in the d6 version, I'm not sure of how to proceed with the d5 version. I'll be backporting that version soon, so please bear with me here.
