When the Secure Site module is enabled, the SMTP module works well when logged in. But when logged out, and a user requests a password, no email is sent. No message is recorded in the log.

I tried enabling the debug option in smtp.module, but nothing was generated.

Disabling Secure Site resolves the issue.

Not sure where to start troubleshooting this. Not even sure if this is related to SMTP or Secure Site module. Any help would be appreciated.

Further investigation shows an issue already opened with Secure site.
