Hello!

-I'm trying to find a way to set my default page to display the latest node added; as you know, by default, the home page is set to "node," which displays a list of the most recently added nodes (in "teaser" form); instead, I want the home page to display the full text of the latest node. Is this possible? Any guidance you can offer is a big help.

Thanks,
Dieter

go to admin>content>configure and change nodes per page to one. then length of trimmed posts to unlimited... this would make a lot of 'pages' though.

Use frontpage.module to create a new front page. Then in the themed input area there, use the code for calling up the latest node. I believe that code is offered up in the documentation book on this site, under blocks. Perhaps someone else has a handy bookmark.

This is something I intend to be doing on a community site in the coming weeks.

I'll give it a try -- thanks! Is this (http://drupal.org/node/4587) what you were talking about?
