Error on theme edit

I'm having a hard time getting this to work. I am getting this error:

warning: filesize(): Stat failed for files/themes/files/themes (errno=2 - No such file or directory) in D:\Apache\Apache2\htdocs\modules\theme_editor\theme_editor.module on line 344.

Steps to Reproduce:
- goto new tab (/admin/theme_editor/startover) and create a new theme. i picked bluemarine
- after it is created click on list tab (/admin/theme_editor)
- click on the edit link (/admin/theme_editor/edit/files/themes/bluemarine_customized) and at the top of the page you will see the error message.

my Theme storage directory is:
"themes"
