Duplicate URL redirect

I think this has already been fixed in Drigg 30. No?

When I submit exactly the same URL (through my bookmarklet), it will bring me to that node page and give me a message "The URL has already been submitted". What more is there to ask? It's perfect as it is.

If you click on submit, and then you enter an URL that is already submitted, it just tells you "url already submitted". What it should do, is also give you a link so that you can actually go there, to the submitted URL...

Agreed. I suggest in this situation it would auto-vote 'up', with the assumption if a user is submitting the URL they will want to vote on it. Maybe admins should have control over the behavior from the administer > drigg configuration page.

It's about 10 times better than what I would have done myself.

I am officially unfit to be the maintainer for this project. I was OK as the monkey who wrote 12000 lines of code to get the project started. However, now Drigg needs somebody like Cedric -- or, somebody as smart as him.

If anybody is looking at patches he committed to decide on a pay rise, do it. Now.
