It would be great if drigg could automatically generate newsletters for users. For example, they could choose a time frame (weekly, fortnightly, monthly, etc.) and either "All" or one or some of your sites categories and then receive an automated newsletter based on those criteria where the stories included would be the top 10 stories in each category they chose for the period of time they chose or just the overall top 10 for the whole site. An allowance for advertsing in the newsletters should be made. This could generate revenue and return traffic.

Sorry, this is a won't fix because the same thing can - and should - be done with other specialised modules of Drupal.
I believe doing this is already possible...
Sending newsletters out is not really part of Drigg.
