D5.6 - PHP 5.2.3 - latest version of Emfield (emfield-5.x-1.x-dev)

everything works fine, except Preview. on front page, i get full size. i've set the preview size in content > types > video (the type i made for vids). not sure that places the preview on the teaser. looking at Contemplates (the template for video, where i've enabled Teaser to get the body text on the front page), i don't see my preview size listed in the available teaser variables.

what variable am i not setting? or is Preview not usable?
