I noticed below each of page's header title it shows the date and time the page was updated or submitted.

Looks like this:
'Sat, 01/26/2008 - 03:00 — Anonymous '

I do not want to show this information below the titles of my pages. I have looked everywhere on how to turned this off and can't.

I am using garland as my theme.

Any help would be appreciated.

Go to Admin > Site Building > Themes > Configure. You'll see checkboxes that allow you to disable authoring information.
