I'm looking to create a gmap (that is in a nice square shape) on every node's page, and also contains markers for the surrounding nodes.

What would be the best approach to doing this? The default gmap block's too un-shapely to use.

Ideally I'd be able to have check-boxes for toggling the type of surrounding nodes' markers.

Embedded-view? or perhaps Gmap Macro? or possibly yet another way?

As it turns out I can reshape the gmap block. However, I'd like to create this map within the node's content.

Any help will be appreciated.
