Issue Summary
how would it be possible to create an automatic alternate login from a specific CCK field?
I have a user registry with extended CCK-made profiles. I'd like to have a membership ID-number, which is an automatically computed field, to be the alternate login.

i have no interest in coding this. if somebody else wants to submit a patch, i'm happy to review it.
