Morning to all,
If some one could help me with the following.
1. I am making a small startup on base of Drupal 5. The planned number of visitors in 4-5 months would be around 5000 visitors / day.
2. I am selecting the sitegroud as recommended by Drupal (Banner at drupal.org/hosting).
The questions are:
1. Is there a number of maximum visitors that my drupal site on siteground can accept per day? I mean won't it be like that hosting on siteground will be slow if there will be large number of visitors ?
2. Has anyone heard of www.site5.com hosting... ???
Thank you for your possible help and sorry for bad english... only learning it now :)
Roman

It's not a recommendation.
Siteground is not actually recommended by Drupal.org, they are merely paying for advertising here. Please see this thread.
I also recommend checking out the 2008 Hosting Evaluations thread, I mention some info about site5 in there.

Using Drupal for large sites
Hi Roman
Your hosting package will be able to accommodate a website with many visitors, if the system you run is well written. Hosts usually have problems with big sites when the database of the application is not optimized and thus using many of the shared server resources.
The Drupal system is very well written and is suitable for sites with many visitors per day. I think you won't have problems with a growing site hosted at SiteGround.com.
