Best module to make a fake pop-up??

Wordpress has some module thaT allows you to make "fake pop-ups" that appear within a page. I have downloaded craqbox, which is advertised as being able to do that, but I would like a piece of example code (and where to put it) that shows me how to use it. What I would much rather have is a gui content-entry screen, like all the other content entry screens. Is there any module that has that?

I want to be able to attach different popups to different pages and actions. Entry pop-up that goes away after you close the window, or fill in its form and hit submit; and another one for onclose(). What is the best easiest solution?
