Text "There are no shouts to view." visible after shout and no page reload

1. If I post a shout (or multiple), there is all the time just above the input box "There are no shouts to view." visible.
This vanish once I a) reload the page or b) set auto refresh to something other than 0.

2. Lets say, the color of the top shout is white, the next shout gray. Now the shout box auto refresh, and the first white background will change to gray too.
