What's the relationship between Media Field and Embedded Media Field?

mediafield allows for audio and video to be uploaded using a form field in CCK.

emfield allows embedding from other sources ie: youtube, google so on so forth.

Thus, no relationship beyond the fact they both depend on CCK.
