I have received complains that the "Advanced" tab shown in the window that is spawned by FCKEdit's image button is rather confusing to end-users. I understand that hardcore HTML experts would want to set language direction and stuff like that for their images, but I'd like the possibility to hide that functionality from end users.

In modules/fckeditor/fckeditor.config.js add the folowing:

FCKConfig.ImageDlgHideLink	= true ;
FCKConfig.ImageDlgHideAdvanced	= true ;

This will disable the advanced tabs for all users.
This is the only way to disable it currently.

In 5.x-2.1-beta it is now possible to define custom javascript configuration for each profile separately through "Advanced options".
So it is now possible to disable those two tabs.
