Allow guest blogger - posts must be pre-approved before being published

Was wondering if they is a way to allow another person to be a guest blogger on my site. I don't want their article to go live "Be published" without my approval. I kind of have this working, created a user who has limited set of permission and can create own blog post but their post is automatically published. If I change the blog node to not be published by default it seem after they have submitted their article they are unable to find it / edit it. If I enable the user to edit nodes then they can screw with my posts? Seems like core drupal doesn't have this functionality???

Taxonomy access perhaps?
