I'm using Drupal 5.7 and installed User Points 5.x-3.3 dated 1/30/08 but I received a "revoked" error message on my "Modules" page, mysite.com/admin/build/modules, as follows:

The installed version of at least one of your modules or themes has been revoked and is no longer available for download. Upgrading or disabling is strongly recommended! See the available updates page for more information.

Please see the attachment where you can see the "revoked" error that showed up on my "Available updates" admin page. I ended up installing User Points 5.x-3.x-dev dated 1/31/08 and the "revoked" error disappeared.

As of 12:51 am CST (Austin, TX, USA), the 3.3 version is still available for download at http://drupal.org/project/userpoints. Shouldn't it be removed if it's been "revoked"?

Also, I was forced to choose a "Component" above, but I'm not sure which one is correct so I chose "Code: userpoints API". Feel free to change this if I chose the wrong one.

Thanks!

Project: User Points » Update Status
Version: 5.x-3.3 » 5.x-2.x-dev
Component: Code: userpoints API » Code

3.3. is the latest release that contains security fixes.

So, this is a question for the update_status folk, or the build scripts.

Changing accordingly.

Eeek, yeah. :( This is http://drupal.org/node/184418 all over again. Sorry about that. That'll be one of the very next top priorities on my (completely overflowing) d.o plate. The good news is it's a server-side fix, so there's no need to change the clients in the wild. My proposal to also have a safety valve in the client code to avoid this bug was unfortunately shot down (http://drupal.org/node/211028).
