I am not sure about a single module for e-learning since e-learning required a number of features from a web app. I do know that some have built e-learning systems in Drupal by combining a number of moudules together.
The most knowledgable about this subject is Charlie Lowe from Purdue. His site is at http://cyberdash.com/. If you google his name or search for it on drupal.org you will find a number of articles about how he has used Drupal for his classes.
I don't think there are good modules for e-learning in drupal. However there is drupaled, a recent initiative by guys at openacademic.org. I have been watching that effort but it seems to have limited traction in the community. Your best bet would be to look at integrating Moodle with Drupal. http://www.smindz.com
