Views "save and edit" button is awesome, since you often tweak a view. Very often I find myself adjusting a block (especially if I'm doing a PHP code block, for example) over and over while developing it, and it would be super-awesome to have a "Save and Edit" button on the block configuration page.

anybodyGuess we're talking about block content here.

smustgrave commentedThere appears to be a module for this https://www.drupal.org/project/save_edit (not sure it works for blocks)
But since this functionality doesn't exist for content or media and blocks are considered "content" not sure when/if this will land.

anybodyThanks @smustgrave so the decision here, (perhaps for the UX Team?), to make is to put this in core for all or nothing?

smustgrave commentedI’m not a product manager but I would imagine they would want consistency.

smustgrave commentedGoing to close this one as outdated #3325167: Revisit the redirect to 'add block' form in the 'add block content' form we are introducing a new button for "Save and configure" which got ux sign off already too. Think that issue is super close as well.
