Description

I have a site using Drupal 5.6/7 and SEOPosition, a three-column theme which has a wider content area on left, the 'left sidebar' in the middle, and the 'right sidebar' on the right. Above the sidebars is a region called 'sidebar top', which is where I want my promoted block to appear. Unfortunately that region does not show up on the 'promote blocks' dropdown menu of regions, but something called 'closure' does, which does not appear anywhere on my site! What's up with this? The block does not in fact appear anywhere when I create the new content.

'closure', Im not sure about that, seems kinda weird. The only closure i know is the $closure variable. But If you are seeing that in the region list then somewhere in your code or other modules is overriding phptemplate_regions.

Are you sure that "Promoted to block on frontpage" is checked on the node's Publishing options section? I do see some issues with the publish options not "sticking" on creation.
