Drupal 5 Support [#216531]

is there anything in this mod that will preclude it from running under drupal 5?

I have had a quick look at the source, but not being experienced in developing for drupal at all, I can't see if there is a reason it would fail.

Is there any chance of backward compatibility?

Unfortunately String Overrides uses something new to Drupal 6: The "locale_custom_strings_en" functionality found in settings.php at the bottom of the file. In Drupal 5, you'd have to make your own custom language, and then deviate from there.... This is why I like this module and can't wait for Drupal 6!
