I'm looking for recommendations from users or maintainers of this module. If you use the blacklist feature, where are you getting your blacklists? Do you download them and from where? How often do you update them? Do you use a whitelist, and from where?
I'd like to use a recent but conservative list. Thanks.

jaydub commentedThere is a feature in the troll.module to automatically download published blacklist but
the blocklist download feature attempts to use the SPEWS blacklists which are now
defunct.

You can still use the module to download and install the china/korea/combined blocklist although
I am working here in China so then you'll be blocking me perhaps!

rkdesantos commentedWill this functionality be in future releases? As it is, it really isn't of much value now without a suitable list to download and use.

deekayen commentedIt's hard to find blacklists for download, which is why I implemented #431744: dnsbl blacklists
There's a pretty comprehensive list of sites for that at http://spamlinks.net/filter-dnsbl-lists.htm
