I have jquery update installed and had the same "Affect body" tick working odd as reported before. I found this with search and applied the patch. Now all is ok.

Unless I'm missing something isn't affect the wrong term, should it not be replace? There doesn't seem anyway to get the body contents from the page and include or manipulate them. OK with cck it is easy enough to add a text field in replacement of the body and hide the body by deleting the body label but the readme could make this more clear.

Also, the readme defines how to make a disk based template but not why you'd want to do that (speed I assume and to reduce DB loading). Also it doesn't say what to do with the DB entry? Does affect body etc. stay ticked and then the body content pane be deleted? Or do you untick? Or does it not matter either way, i.e. if the file exists it takes priority?

It would also be useful to see the default body again. I couldn't find a way to do that. I had to add another text field to my content type and it would have been useful to be able to see the extra code in contemplate so I could include it in my body. Perhaps a view standard body link?

The patch fixed the "affect body" tick box misbehaviour as it did for the other poster (where I found the patch).

The rest of the post is my comment on the documentation/labelling Is that not clear? To sum up - explain why, and how for disk based templates; can you use the standard body field in the custom page if so how (I think it gets replaced).
