Gmap, Views & Location

Hello everyone,

I installed Gmap, Views and Location modules.

The Gmap module is working quite nicely.

What I would like to do, is have a gmap that shows various markers each representing a project around the world.

The problem:

I have no idea what to do with the Views and Location modules. I have been trying to read through the forum or look for some tutorial that explains how these modules all work together but I can't find any.

Could someone explain it to me?
