I have the SMTP installed, When I send the test email from the module page it works and I recieve the email. When I do anything else (request password, create a new user) I don't get any emails. Is there something that we were supposed to configure other than activate the module and fill in the info?

I found this to be an issue using gmail. For whatever reason, I can't get gmail to send a message to the holder of the SMTP account (i.e.: to myself) -- so the main site contact function doesn't work (since it's the same address, maybe?), but contacting individual users does... hope that helps someone.

UPDATE:

Using different addresses for the site's CONTACT and this module's SMTP did seem to solve the gmail issue.
