Arrow bullet strikes out first letter of node title.

The issue is best seen in the attached screenshot or at http://nipahut.org/nodelist_output.png.

I edited style.css and removed the 'li' background attribute. This has the side effect of the (nice) arrows not displaying in navigation lists.
