Image node is gone

I use 4.6 and image module 4.6. Everything was running fine until today the image node type suddenly disappeared. There is no longer a link to submit a new image node, and existing image node show up empty. The module is still installed and activated, nothing was changed there, the only thing i did today was enabeling the helpedit module and creating it's DB tables.

I have no idea as to how to fix this, i already tried reinstalling the image module and i disabeled the helpedit module.
