Is there a reason why 10 is the maximum number of images that can be attached to a node ? I'd like to be able to put hundreds of pics in one node (holidays photos, ...) if there's no technical reason to limit the #.

I found it! Under Nodes Per Page you can set the number of pictures per slide show.
