Description

Hello, I get a message that "your pblog has been created" but see only the text I put in the body. No images.

Here's a screenshot of what the node looks like: http://picasaweb.google.com/saneplanet22/Misc/photo#5162553200173028610

Would you please kindly tell me how I should troubleshoot this? There is a new folder in the files/pblog directory for every time I created a pblog. But they are all empty.

this might be important: my drupal installation is in a subdirectory, not the root.

It could be anyone of a couple of things. Firstly it only works on a Linux server for the moment and that Linux server needs the convert program to be available on the command line (The next version this will probably not be needed).
Or else it could be that your images are in a subdirectory in your zip file. Your zip file cannot have any directories in it, just images.

You can email me your zip file if you would like me to test it for you.

Regards
Baldy

Hello baldy, thanks for your reply. The zip file conforms (noticed the issue with subdir on earlier support post) and I am on a linux server.

... that Linux server needs the convert program to be available on the command line

This one I don't know anything about. I will send the question to my host, but what is the name of the "convert program" that needs to be on the command line?

The program is actually called convert :)
On my system its in /usr/bin/convert
Anyway, I just rewrote some of the code so it no longer needs that.
I have just submitted it to CVS, so you can try out the dev copy tomorrow morning or wait a day or two for the next release to come out.
Hopefully it will fix the problem you are having.

Hi Baldy,

It works beautifully. http://ihea.info/multicultural_health_education/node/1377 Thank you so much. This is a very valuable module. I write blogs from places where entire population is still on dialup. I was in a net cafe in the countryside in Tanzania, where a dozen workstations SHARED a single weak dialup connection. Text pages flowed in like molasses in winter. Just imagine how your module comes in handy in such places. Instead of banging my head on an ancient CRT for an hour, praying that a single image upload goes through on the nth try, now I can upload --- hopefully --- entire set of zipped files at once.

Many thanks.
