When you create a new node and preview it with a valid youtube(for example) code in the video field the embedded video code is not showing an thus the preview isn't representative of the finished node. I managed to access the what was entered in the field by putting this code in the node.tpl.php:

global $form_values

and then you just get exactly what is inputted and not the but

code needed to show the video. Is there a way to make the full avaiable to the node.tpl.php file when previewing a new node?
