Hello,

could somebody tell me, what I have to do, to see the topics in the Drupal 4.6 forum?
In the block "new topics" are all topics registered but in the forum not.

It worked in Drupal 4.5 perfectly. But in Drupal 4.6 something seems to be changed!?!

What do I have to do?

Many thanks!

If you look at the issues here, you will find a suggestion to filter the tracker on the forum page so it shows only forum topics instead of all node types. Maybe in 4.6.1?

Thank you for the fast answer.

But when I try to post in the forum, the message doesn't shows in the forum.
Only in the blocks "active forums" etc....

It might be that your forum vocabulary isn't set up right. Make sure that you have actually assigned your forum posts to a vocab term (or forum category).

I assigned the posts everytime to a vocab term, but it doesn´t work.

But I can´t assign a vocab term to the forum, like in Drupal 4.5 (administer/settings/forum). Perhaps there is my error?

admin/categories -- create a new vocabulary and assign it to forums. Create one term and then make a test post.

Thank you for the answer.

I have done all the things.

I have created a Container name "container1" , i have created a forum named "forum1".
Then i have created vocabulary named "container1" and a term named "forum1".

When i write a posting i can select the term, but the post will not be shown in the forum, only in the blocks "Active topics" etc....

Perhaps a bug in 4.6?

I think i'm having the same problem. I can't get my containers assigned to my vocabulary. I can post a forum message to a term, but I can't seem to get forum containers to actually have any messages in them unless they are entered via the forum menu.
