panels support?

i was wondering, if there is a possibility to get multi language support for panels 2. in fact, it's just about the translation of overwritten panel-titles. The "content" of the panels are views/blocks/nodes, which all translate just fine ;) I just wanted to ask if there is an easy way to ie, load the panel-titles in the "string"-translation-interface. I am very thankful for any clue, please tell me want you think about this. (Also if you think, that this is more likely to be requested over at the panels-project ;)
