It would be nice if those multi billion entities which use Drupal contribute back to it in a even minimal sum of their worth and resources... there are many forms of contribution not just dosh.. IBM sets an example towards http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/ibm/library/i-osource5/
Many of the "multi billion [dollar?] entities which use Drupal" do this in many ways already. I would be surprised if AOL (or whomever built the site for them) doesn't already "give back".
I have not came cross any reference if AOL does as oppose to i can of IBM's.
If they do a pointer would be useful share towards the AOL contribution to inform Drupal and wider public -unless it kept secret for some justified reason
also it can be beneficial for them -in this case AOL- for their promotion, to put themselves in the class of 'big corporations contributing or committing to the open source'
Although AOL is kind of a "has been" in technology, this is their corporate web site. Nice to see a large corporation adopt Drupal nontheless.

No joke! I didn't even realize they were using Ubercart for the media gallery. That rocks. : )
For those interested, they're using Ubercart to distribute downloadable versions of their logos for press use. They only require an e-mail address to "checkout" and then provide zips w/ the license and image files. Very innovative use of Ubercart, and we're stoked that they're doing it. To see it in action, you can view the Media Gallery there.
This is a pretty impressive site imho... even the html coding is structured well... with all the stuff on the page, you;d expect it to run a little slower but it isnt...

Yes, it is Drupal 5.x with Ubercart.

This is pretty awesome.
AOL is a huge brand name, just being able to say that AOL is using Drupal is impressive. It would be nice if they put a link in their footer.
