Is it possible to display the 'node locations map' on the frontpage inside the body of a page/story as opposed to under the Node Locations menu entry as it is by default?

I am bumping this again because I am really stumped, I have tried looking everywhere for any info on this but I can't find any.

Another question I have is how would I modify the page on which the 'Node Locations' map is displayed? (Or which file do I need to modify).

When someone clicks on the 'Node Locations' link I would like a page with the map only and nothing else.
