I thought you might be interested in a report from a Windows user, in case you want to update the info on the Windows access key. With the default TELEPORT_HOTKEY (set to 'T'), Alt-T doesn't seem to work for me under either Firefox or IE. They both bring up the Tools menu.
I can get Firefox to work by pressing Shift-Alt-T. The same key combination in IE6 still brings up the Tools menu. In an attempt to debug, I tried changing the TELEPORT_HOTKEY to 'Z', but that didn't fix IE either, I just hear an error/bonk tone. Firefox still worked though, now using Shift-Alt-Z.
I use Slickrun on Windows as a desktop launcher, so I love the idea of the interface. Now that I have it running under Firefox, I'll continue to test it and let you know if I run into any other issues. Thanks for the module.

incidentist commentedGlad you like the module!
The bad news: yeah, I don't have easy access to a Windows PC so testing Teleport on IE has been nonexistent. Thanks for letting me know.
The good news: I'm putting the finishing touches on a settings screen that'll let you change the accesskey. I'll probably get it into CVS sometime this week.
Hmm...although, that might not solve the problem. I'll have to investigate further.

incidentist commentedThe most recent CVS commit has a screen that lets you change the accesskey. It's still 'T' by default. I will change that as soon as I get steady access to an IE machine so that I can do better testing.

christefano commentedControl-Z is "undo" so unless you've done something that's undoable, Windows will play a bonk/error sound.

incidentist commentedDefault hotkey changed to Ctrl-M for all browsers in 1.2.

matt v. commentedI just wanted to confirm that Ctrl-M is working great for me in Firefox 3, IE 6, IE 7, and Google Chrome under Windows XP. The only browser I tested that didn't work was IE 5 (but it's so old, I would have been more surprised if it did work).
Thanks again for the great module!
