The newest version of SimplePie 1.1 released on Jan 2 2008 causes the error "warning: Compilation failed: nothing to repeat" when updating feeds. I'm not sure if this is a problem with SimpleFeed or SimplePie. The Blackberry version from 12/1/2007 of SimplePie works fine so there may have been something they changed.

Fixed in the latest trunk build of SimplePie available at http://simplepie.org/development/. You might want to recommend this in your description then.
