I'm looking for the ability to restrict particualr user roles from being able to select certain taxonomy terms on my site's content creation forms. My question is, would this TAC module allow for me to do that but also allow me to set different rules for who can view nodes with those terms? Simply put, I'd like to restrict who can list certain terms on content forms but also allow for everyone to be able to view those nodes regardless.

Thank you. Also, do you recomend I go with the current TAC module or the new 5.2 branch?

I'll answer here despite that this issue is two years old; perhaps someone will find this in a search. The answer to the first question is yes. As to the second, I personally find the 2.x branch to be much better and have it on a production site.
