Just wanted to announce that ASPO International (Association for the study Peak Oil & Gas) just released it's new website, powered by Drupal. The release comes at the same time as the formation of "ASPO International" (formerly ASPO).

ASPO is, quoting the front page "a network of scientists and others, dedicated to the study the date and impact of the peak and decline of the world's production of oil and gas, due to resource constraints."

Drupal has been a natural choice because of it's flexibility and rich set of features available as modules.

Visit: http://www.peakoil.net

Feedback and comments on the website the design and structure are welcome.

Heh, I think most of the peak oil sites now are drupal, the Post Carbon Institute, the Oil Drum and here in Portland we use drupal for portlandpeakoil.org/discussion.

When I click on "Read President newsletter" and then on any of the 'download pdf' links, the resulting PDF is not readable and you just get re-directed back to the frontpage.

The login block in the left column is taunting me, who can create accounts? If only select people can, then I would suggest you just direct them to login at peakoil.net/user and remove the login block.

Thanks for the response.

The PDF:s should be fixed now.

Regarding the login, yes, that's a good point. I'll hide it.

Can you share where you got the menu from? Or is it custom?
