Hello,

The generated sitemap uses URL aliases for some of the published stories and for other it does not, even though all stories have aliases defined.

For example:
http://www.vista4beginners.com/node/92
instead of
http://www.vista4beginners.com/Windows-Mail

What can be done to use always the URL Aliases?

Thanks,
Ciprian

I'm experiencing the same problem. Out of about two hundred urls on the sitemap only five have the correct aliases, even though all are defined. Category paths are working fine though (e.g. http://www.mysite.co.uk/category/location/rusholme).

I read this: http://drupal.org/node/202923 and was inspired to uninstall xmlsitemap and put on the dev version. Seems to have fixed the missing url aliases.

I too have the same issue, almost no aliases are used. I'm a bit confused about the installing the dev though. The main page doesn't list a dev version and the only dev I can find seems to be older than 1.4.

UPDATE: I tried the alter the weight in the database which I don't think helped. After that I noticed that new ones did have the alias. Updating all the pages has added the aliases now. I think it is the update all pages after sitemap is installed is the key.

You are right... If you update the articles, it does work.

I have to update 130+ articles for it to work?
Wow... no thanks!!!

This is a bug, not a feature and it should be solved.
