OK, I am tired of my hosts frequent downtime as well Maximum mysql connection error and using excess resources problems. So I am looking for some good, established and reliable Drupal friendly host which is fairly generous in RAM usage and Mysql connections.

I don't care much about Diskspace or bandwidth though.

I have a site which will be reaching 250k uniques/month in 3 months time (currently it is 50k uniques/month), so 10 GB disk space and 200 GB BW should be fine for me.

I am looking for hosts in the range of $25/month.

Where to begin: Siteground, site5, ix-webhosting, 1 and 1,.....

And all a lot less than $25 a month.

Stay away from all of those hosts. I'm looking for a new host too and I know for sure that the hosts mentioned above are trouble. Use http://www.webhostingtalk.com to research.

I have scores of clients who are quite happy with these hosts, and I know "for sure" that they are not only not trouble but in fact quite reliable with varying degrees of competent customer support (i.e., if you need lots and lots of hand holding, some are better than others, and there are even some that are better than all of the abovementioned). But by all means, read as many reviews as you can before deciding; you will get as many opinions as there are webhosts and customers who are seeking to move from one to the other. In the final analysis, you will need to make DB backups on a regular basis, no matter who you select to host your site.

Caveat emptor.

I don't think any hosting in above can serve a drupal site with 250k uniques/month. I think you have to choose a VPS hosting. Personally, I would like recommend companies such as midphase, lunarpages or hostgator, but all of them cost you most than $25 per month.
