before I saw this I actually tried hacking the cas module myself to get it to work on 6.x. From your patch it looks like I made the same changes, but didn't add the extra stuff with cas_init, and the other code to make sure it appears in the menus only when needed. Anyway, this patch applied well against HEAD for me and I am using it in one of my testing sites. When do you think you guys will cut a new release?
